How to separate salt from sand
How to separate salt and sand

In this video i attempted to separate salt from sand
Follow all the steps if you are going to practice it
First of all spread your mixture of salt and sand on a flat frying pan and use a magnet to pick up sand particles, in this first stage you will be able to remove a significant portion of sand from the mixture

But the magnet cannot pick up all of the sand especially those small dust particles also there is a portion of sand that is not magnetic and will not be captured by magnet

So the second stage pour your mixture of salt and sand into a pan containing pure water and start stirring your mixture in order to dissolve all of the salt in water leaving the sand particles behind

Then by using a simple filtering process you will be able to remove large muddy particles
Then filter your mixture again the second time but this time use a filter paper or a piece of cloth that has very small pores space
After that pour out your salt solution into a clean frying pan and put it on a source of heat, You can also use sunlight to evaporate all of your water

For me the results wasn't quite very well because I was hurry up during the filtering process and i didn't filter all of the sand out but if you are going to try it be patient to not squeeze your filter as you may end up dropping more sand into your filtrate

Hopefully this video was somehow helpfully please SUBSCRIBE, for more projects COMMENT if you have any question or suggestion and leave a thumb up LIKE
