Description from the creator

Setting up an Amish made trestle table can seem a bit daunting at first glance but it's really not that hard. The only tools that you will need is a 1/2 inch deep socket ratchet.
The first thing you'll need to do is unwrap the ends of that trestle and the spreader bars. Once everything is unwrapped you insert the top spreader bar into the upper hole in the trestle slide the washer over the bolt and hand tighten the nut. Repeat this step for the lower spreader bar. In most cases the upper bar is smaller that the bottom one but this can easily be changed if you prefer the look of the other bar.
Now once you have hand tightened the nuts you can cinch things down with the ratchet. Just make sure not to over tighten then as this will start to back the bolt out.
Now do the same thing on the other end.
In the feet of the trestle there is usually levelers that screw in and out. Not all trestle tables will have levelers. If yours does have them this is the best time to level your table. Once you have the top on it gets much harder.
Not that the table is level it takes 2 people to put the top on. all you have to do is open the table all the way and guide each others side down on to the bolts. Once that's done slide the washers over the bolts and tighten donw the nuts and you're done.
