How to set your white balance

Today I show you how to set your White Balance. If you've ever taken a photograph or a video where the colour looked off, chances are you need to learn about white balance in your camera. Once you understand this, then you'll be set to get a better balance in your colours when you take a photo or film some video.

Whenever I am filming with a digital camera, I always make sure I set the white balance by using a grey card or a balanced white card, then I know the colours in my video will be true to what they were on the day. If you shoot raw photographs, you don't have to worry too much about white balance as the camera stores all of the color data... although it is good to try and get it right in camera whenever possible.
