How to Setup ECG on Apple Watch 5: Hands On - Export, Delete ECG Readings

Let's Set up and Use ECG On Apple Watch 5 and Electrocardiograms BMP measurement on my Apple Watch 5 or later. Next, we can Save ECG report on Apple Watch, Delete Old ECG readings, Manage ECG reading tests and Export ECG report in PDF or Share ECG Report with Doctor.

Press the digital crown button to move your apple watch apps screen, Find ECG app and Tap on it.

Now setup will start from iPhone's Health app.

So on your iPhone open Health app and Find Electrocardiograms ECG from Bottom browse tab or Find under the Heart option. In Search Field type ECG.

Now your iPhone will show general information about how to measure ECG using the Apple Watch Digital Crown button.

You will see other options as well but not useful until you set up the first time.

To move Tap on Setup ECG button on iPhone, Now the next screen will ask to enter your Birthdate, Enter Month, Date and Year now Tap on continue button. Scroll to down and tap on continue.

How does the ECG app work, Basically Apple Watch measures electric pulses that make your heartbeat? the app checks these pulses to get your heart rate and see if the upper and lower chambers of your heart are in rhythm. Keep continue go on your iPhone screen, also get the information that things to remember, this can not detect a heart attack, Cannot detect blood clots or Cannot detect heart-related conditions.

Now it time to take the first ECG test, Open ECG app on apple watch and Keep your finger on Digital Crown, Your Apple watch Must wear on your left or right wrist correctly to measure accurate tests. Wait for 30 seconds and record completely. Once you complete the test the result will save on your iPhone health app. From there we can check all saved ECG test, Export PDF or Delete old recording.

take your first ECG test on your Apple Watch, and Wait for Completed 30 Seconds. Whenever it's completed you will be notified on your iPhone with notification or open Health app on your iPhone to check the result. Now tap on down to save it on your iPhone health app. also you can take another test after a tap on done on your Apple Watch bottom of the screen.

now I am taking another test with my apple watch ECG app. So, Check the Difference and accuracy of ECG measurement. Launch ECG app on apple watch, Place your finger on the digital crown button to make another test, after 30 seconds test will save on your iPhone health app. Also, we can delete old ECG recordings on the iPhone.

Now where ever you want or View saved ECG recording we can check from the iPhone health app also we can print, PDF ECG file to check with the doctor. Open Health app on iPhone, Tap on the bottom Browse tab, Next tap on Heart option and Find Electrodiagram (ECG) and Tap on Graph or Swipe on the right to view the full recording. here's the option for Export PDF for your doctor, otherwise Print or Share this sheet tap on the sharing icon at the top right corner of the screen.
