How To Sew A 3D Hanging Kangaroo Or Wallaby Pouch

This is a tutorial to help you make 3D hanging Kangaroo or Wallaby pouches which are in desperate need right now in Australia due to the recent wildfires.

PS - I didn't actually mail the Vegemite back to Australia :)

Please use 100% cotton for the outer fabric and a soft 100% cotton flannel or flannelette for the lining

MEASUREMENTS:

 For wallabies you need 65cm x 105cm (25.5" x 41") – CUT 2 PIECES, 1 piece is the liner
 For kangaroos you need 75cm x 130 cm (29.5" x 51") – CUT TWO PIECES, 1 piece is the
liner

There is a new, updated pattern on the website that doesn't quite match the instructions I followed when making this video. It will essentially be the same, they just have it folded so the seam is in the back and not the bottom where it was for me - AND added about placing the fabric right sides together to sew it like a bag (so now that joke I made about going rogue doesn't make sense - HA!)
