After FINALLY getting this thing back together, I decided to make a video of the process in case I forgot how to do so. Then I thought, maybe I could put this on YouTube for other people to watch if they have the same problem.
This probably only works for identical cubes though...

(This is one solution I found; there are others but this is the one I could consistently get to work.)
