How to SPEED UP PS4 Copying Update File and FIX SLOW PS4 (Best Method!)

Does it seem like it takes forever to copy ps4 download updates on the ps4??? For me, it takes longer to copy the update file then it does to download the update. To fix ps4 copying update file slow, there are two solutions. The first being rebuilding the database on the PS4. This can be done by putting your PS4 into safe mode and going to option number 5, rebuild database. The other option is to buy a solid state drive. This will significantly speed up your PS4.

A solid state drive is more expensive, however, the PS5 will be launching with a solid state drive. Sony did a demonstration of a solid state drive in the PS5 presentation for spider man. They were able to load spiderman in .9 seconds vs 30 seconds on a ps4. Which is much much faster. The copying issue on the ps4 is a hard drive issue, the system has out of date specifications. Until the PS5, we can only do some much with the current hardware or buy a solid state drive.
