Counterfeit designer fashion (also called super fakes, triple A replicas, or knock offs) is a multi billion dollar industry. Louis Vuitton bags are some of the most copied handbags out there. In today’s video, Kailey from Love that Bag shows you a number of different tips and tricks for how to tell whether the Louis Vuitton handbag you are inspecting is real or fake. Dead giveaways include crooked LV logos, misaligned stitches and uneven seams. In this video, two pre-owned Louis Vuitton Alma designer handbags are inspected. The counterfeit one has the wrong hardware, the lining inside the clochette is not lacquered, the embossing of the LV print is too deep, and the tag inside is not in the correct font. We also show a fake receipt, with a very minor but obviously apparent spelling mistake.
