How to Spray-Paint an Airsoft Gun [HD]

I forgot about prepping the surface of the project, generally you want to scuff it up first with some sandpaper and clean the surface with de-greaser or just wipe it clean after sanding.

This tutorial is just a general basic idea on painting parts of guns. I'm sure there are different options in paint such as DuraCoat, but most of the time airsoft guns aren't put through that much abuse that DuraCoat would be needed. Also, some objects need to be prepped before painting so you want to keep that in mind. This is a very basic tutorial, Im sure there are lots of tips out there that I did not cover but you will have to do some research yourself. Generally, just don't over spray because it will the paint to drip and spray in light coats until you cover an area. With that said, enjoy!

After the paint has dried, you can use some really fine sandpaper and smooth out the surface if you want.

A fan is something you also might want to have as it ventilates the area and will make your paint dry faster if its blowing onto the project.
