When you hang wallpaper in any room in your home, it's important that you choose the right point to start. By starting to hang your wallpaper in a focal point of the room, you can ensure that the end point (where the wallpaper pattern is unlikely to match up exactly) is in a less obvious position, such as near to a corner or over a door.

It's also important to ensure that your chosen starting point for hanging your wallpaper doesn't leave you with very thin strips when you come to wallpapering the corners of the room.
