I am trying a safe way to cat proof my garden. I have found cats trying to use my garden bed as a litter box. That is not good for your veggies. So rather than using chemicals or red pepper. Or any thing that could harm the cats. I am using galvanized wire 4 foot by 8 foot on my 4x6 foot raised garden beds.
I am trying bird netting on the 4x4 foot beds. Not sure if this is safe yet. And it will not last as long as the wire.
Also the wire can be raised to create a frame to cover with plastic or shade cloth. or white cloth for a cold frame. It is more versatile.
