Do you have some wardrobe doors that are bowing? You don’t need to replace them! Fit these rods and you can introduce tension at the back of the door, in either direction to correct the bend.

I was aware of these bars but never fully understood them. I couldn’t find a decent video showing how to fit them. Then I had to use them so I decided to make the video I wished I could have found!

Some additional notes: there was a lot of interest in this subject on the ‘Fesdrool’ Festool talk group on Facebook and a few of the more experienced fitters were saying they just use a 35mm hinge holecutter in a drill, and a 10mm straight cutter in the router with a fence setup.

Although I like a good jig, I must admit their method makes a lot of sense - once you’re confident with how the system works it will be quicker to get stuck right in and fit them that way.
