How To Tame Frizzy Hair

The struggle with frizzy hair in the humid summertime is real. There is nothing worse than curling your hair just to have the curls fall out, or straightening your hair, just the have it frizz-curl itself before you even get to the car! We want to share out best tips and tricks for taming your frizzy hair so that you can keep looking great all summer!

Here are several key steps that will help you tame your frizzy hair.

Grace: Taming Frizz in Curly Hair
• Drying your hair very well is the first step to preventing the frizz.
• Moroccan Oil: Curl Defining Cream: This product is critical in managing frizz in my curly hair. I use anti-frizz product all the time.
• Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Humidity Gel
• Olaplex No.3 Hair Treatment: Apply in the shower before you wash your hair to prevent it from getting frizzy.
• Kenra Dry Oil Control Spray No.14: This spray tames frizz in your hair and smells amazing!
• I absolutely need hairspray to hold my hair type together and prevent the frizz from taking over.

Josie: Taming Frizz in Straight/Lightly Wavy Hair
• Olaplex No.3 Hair Treatment: I Apply by dampening my hair, adding the product, and doing housework.
• Olaplex No.6 Hair Treatment: This is a leave-in conditioner.
• I will cocktail some Olaplex bonding oil with the No. 6 conditioning treatment after I get out of the shower and let it airdry.
• I stopped blow-drying my hair and this made a HUGE difference for reducing frizz.
• I do not typically use hairspray on my hair because it weighs my hair down too much, dries my hair out, and makes my hairstyle unfold.
