Learn how to throw a tomahawk like a frontiersman! Native Americans and frontiersmen valued tomahawk throwing so much because it provided a means for hitting a target at range. In this video, I'll teach you how to stick a tomahawk on the Frontier Trading Company tomahawk range.

I have taught Boy Scouts and their siblings, parents, and grandparents how to throw tomahawks for four years. Over time, I have perfected my own technique and established a simple seven-minute talk that I like to run through before people throw tomahawks at camp. Now I am taking that talk to YouTube!

Remember that a tomahawk is a tool. As such, it demands respect. Take care not to cut yourself, and do not take any unnecessary risks. Know your target and beyond, and use soft wood as a target- not a living tree or recently cut log.
