How to Turn a zero turn mower without causing turf Damage

This video is intended to demonstrate the proper technique for mowing a lawn. Specifically, it discusses making turns on a hydraulic zero turn lawn mower without tearing the grass when making turns. The proper way to turn a zero turn when making passes in a lawn would be to make 3 to 4 point turns and not to rotate the lawn mower 180 degrees in one single pivot. We also discuss how to avoid tearing the lawn when approaching the end of your pass by gradually slowing down and avoiding the wheel from locking up and dragging. By utilizing these basic mowing strategies we can achieve the best results our clients expect. The conditions are often not perfect and riding a zero turn commercial mower on a wet lawn can cause major damage but when you operate the machine properly the results of mowing a wet lawn and a dry lawn can be the same.
This video is for training purposes for Hoffman lawn and fertilizer
