If this problem is pursuing your Messenger experience, this video will show you how to turn off the SMS feature in Facebook Messenger. First open the app drawer and launch the Messenger app. Depending on which smartphone you have, select the menu button (profile) on the left at the top of the phone. Then choose "SMS." Under "SMS," disable "Default SMS app." This task will turn on “Text Messaging."
If you don’t want to see SMS conversation in Messenger then turn off SMS messaging. Your SMS conversation will be shown separately from Messenger conversation and can only be accessed on your phone.
