How to Turn on Chat in Gmail?
1. Open Your Favorite Browser.
2. Go to Gmail.com
3. Enter your User name and Password.
4. Click Sign in to Login to Your Gmail Account
5. Click the Gear Icon in the Upper right corner of the page.
6. Select Settings from the drop down menu.
7. Click on Chat Tab.
8. Turn on Chat by Selecting Chat on Radio Button.
9. Click Save Changes.
10. Page will reload.
11. Repeat the steps to check whether the changes has been applied or not.
