Steps:

Launch your xbox and sign into your xbox live account.

Now click the ‘guide’ button on your controller to bring up the guide menu.

Move to the right until you get to ‘system’ , and then open ‘updates and downloads’ .

Now enable the checkboxes for ‘keep my console up to date’, and if you want to auto update games too, enable checkbox ‘keep my games and apps up to date.

Your xbox will now automatically update
