How to Use Plastic Wrap for Moving

It protects your items while keeping everything in place, and unlike tape, it won't damage the surface of your furniture because it only sticks to itself. Check out these tips for using plastic wrap for moving:

-Wrap upholstered furniture or cloth items (like pillows) in stretch wrap--it'll protect the fabric without making it sticky.
-Wrap furniture with doors and drawers to keep them from opening during the move. While tape would do the same job, it can damage the finish--opt for stretch wrap instead! (Wrap wood or leather furniture with paper padding first to avoid moisture or condensation build up)
