Description from the creator

This is part one of the in the hoop felt doll tutorial series. In this video you will watch a walk through of sewing the doll out in the hoop. This design is available at Planet Applique and comes in the 4x4, 5x7, 6x10, 8x12 hoops and has a noturn version as well. Comes with the pony as well! Helpful supplies:
-poly fil
-quality felt (the kind on the bolt in the store OR wool felt is actually the best from craftywool on etsy. The white bolt felt is awesome...the acrylic sheets of felt wont provide the best outcome but will work in a pinch with the NOTURN version
-scissors
-temporary spray adhesive
-ANY stabilizer...nothing fancy
-scotch tape
-Snap pliers and diaper snaps(Babyville brand is what I got)
-1/2" ribbon
-ruffle trims (optional)
-A Long doll needle..mine is 5" long by dritz for 3.00 for two
-Coats Upholstery thread (1.50 at HB)
-Any 7" zipper..but I picked up zippers in ECRU or neutral color. This zipper will be hid so any color really.
-YARN! Think hair. Both for pony and for dolly. Any kind. One skein is enough to do at least two dolls maybe three.
-Buttons : for the 4x4 doll 1/4" (2), for the 5x7, 6x10, 8x12 doll 1/2" buttons (2), for the pony anywhere from 1/4" for the 4x4 to 1" for the 5x7 and larger pony.
-Regular Old binder clips or wonder clips
-Steam a seam lite 2 sheet packet for the dresses if using regular fabric for them
-Lastly, fabri-tac by Beacon OR Aleenes Quick Dry Fabric Fusion Glue (you might can use a glue gun as well but these two glues I have found are the best..fast dry and permanent bond!
