Model: Phoenix
Designer: Traditional
Difficulty: Easy
Paper: 6 in./15 cm square kami

Phoenix:
This is one of my favorite traditional models because it is relatively easy but makes a beautiful finished model that looks more complex than it is. There are a few difficult steps to watch out for but nothing that can't be overcome with a little practice.

Traditional Origami:
Traditional models have been around for centuries, most of which have no known origin. They are typically very simple models to fold and a great place to start learning the basics. They are good to teach to children but are also good to learn for someone of any level because they use the fundamentals of origami.
