Hi welcome to my tutorial. This tutorial demonstrates how to make a Poppy flower in full bloom, a poppy bud, a poppy seed head and poppy leaves. You will be shown how to wire the flower, tape the wires and secure together once made. You will also learn how to make a cotton centre for the poppy. Each step of how to make the flower is explained in full. The cutter used to make the Poppy is Tinkertech Poppy Cutter and Poppy Leaf. I have made the flower with flower paste in some countries this is called gumpaste. The flower cannot be made with fondant as it would not be strong. The flower can be made with modelling paste but it would not look as realistic as it would be a thicker consistency. The same process can be used to make a clay or fimo flower.
