Description from the creator

This is our final technique prep before diving into basic 1-way pickslanted multi-string playing! In this quick lesson I teach how guitar picking speed isn't done by moving the pick faster, but by moving it through a narrower range of motion instead. The motion-reducing approach of "planting" was first pioneered by Rick Graham (as far as I know) and has certainly helped my technique a lot. Practice your picking with this technique. Work on both downward pickslanting (DWPS) and upward pickslanting (UWPS).
