How to change the strings on a Bass guitar.

How to replace or change a string or restring a Bass guitar.

For this video I use a Fender Jazz bass as an example. I will be explaining in detail how to change all the strings on this bass with a new set of Bass guitar strings but you can use this tutorial if you need to replace a single broken bass string. For this tutorial I am using a Fender Jazz style bass guitar just because that's the bass guitar I have that needs new strings. This bass guitar is copied by many makes so you may find that your bass guitar is exactly the same to restring. Even if you bass guitar is different, the same principles and techniques I use to replace the strings on this bass guitar apply to most makes and styles of bass guitars and therefore you can use this tutorial even if you want to restring a different style or make of bass guitar.
