Description from the creator

After watching a million DIY videos on how to fix a slow flush that all rambled but never got to the actual solution, I was left very frustrated. So once I figured it out, I had to make my own.

Apologies I don't have any before footage, I didn't plan to make a video upfront but after so much stress I wanted to help someone else down the road. I just moved into this place and having a faulty toilet was very frustrating. Sitting on the throne is important to me.

However for reference I had a lot of brown build up at the bottom of the toilet and that is a sign you may have a calcium problem as well.

Solution incase you don't want to watch! A slow flush means the toilet bowl isn't getting enough water fast enough to finish the flush. So check the sources of water for clogs, in my case, calcium clogs. You have the side Jets and the tiny jet at the bottom which can be hard to see if there is calcium build up. Muriatic acid, CLR or vinegar can all break down calcium. I went for all 3 but I think the CLR is just fine and you won't need to worry about the safety hazord of acid.

The longer you let the Jets soak in the solvent, the better it should work at dissolving. However in the end I had to physically unclog the Jets with force, that was what finally did it in the end.

If when you flush the water doesn't go down at all you probably have a clog and this method won't help you. Try draino or get a snake or call the Mario brothers.
