A few companies sell alternate tuning systems, these have an "offset setting" in their tuner an involve shifting the nut slightly toward the bridge. After studying these systems I realized that 95% of the mojo was the tuner offset. If you know guitar setup geometry and ponder for a while the answer becomes obvious. Use your own guitar, set intonation at both the twelfth and third fret.This should capture the offset required for your exact instrument. The net result is a guitar more in tune all over the fretboard... no special products or system to buy.
