Meend which is called Glissando in English is a very important aspect of Indian Classical Music. It is not possible to play even a single song or a raga without Meend.
It is one of the advanced techinques one should learn and ofcourse not easy to master it. Religious practise of six months and so on will help one to master Meend.
In this effort I have made an honest effort to teach you how to play Meend giving some exercises. Follow this exercise and try to practise regularly. You will soon be able to play Meend.
Meend adds to the beauty and make your music more melodious.
So, all the best and play well.
