Here's my quick and permanent method for repairing stripped screw holes. It's a good idea to use safety glasses whenever you use super glue, but especially for this job. The glue may spit when you tap in the toothpicks. Also, the pieces of toothpick can flick up into your face. I've used this method for many years, even on bolt-on neck heels.
