i get asked a lot about the guitar i use so i made another video - here ya go youtube.com/watch?v=AA-CL2VHibs
I get asked about the rest of the gear so i made another one about that too youtube.com/watch?v=9oGJxnK6C0I
finally - an explanation of what happens if i dont have any of the gear at all youtube.com/watch?v=mLYlR7hMJRY

Update: even though I make the unfounded claim about working in chromatics - “there’s really no way to practice this” - I’ve changed my mind. That simply isn’t true. There is, and it’s called jazz. It’s the art/science of connecting chord changes with passing tones... bebop scales are only one useful way to practice this. It can certainly help crafting good solos in any genre including this one.

I’ve been studying jazz for the duration of this pandemic and it’s starting to stick. Will likely do a whole new video on this topic soon.

enjoy!
