How to throw a Christmas party - Lift her up

www.howtothrowachristmasparty.nl

Lift her up, Lord, above the waves
she was too young, Lord, to die today
and everybody that knew her name
was buried deep down under the waves.

And all of us here who just stood by
Our hearts are dark and our eyes our blind
We look away and refuse to mourn
the children drowning right off our shore.

They say that up in the Father's house
there are many, many rooms.
Lay out the red carpet for the girl
in the pink skirt and the purple shoes.
