Description from the creator

scottpaddocksaxschool.com - STUDY SAX WITH SCOTT PADDOCK

In this video, I show you the step by step process to transcribing a solo! I use opening part of Miles Davis' solo on Freddie Freeloader and show you exactly what you need to do to start. How to find your notes. How to figure out the rhythms. And how to approach perfecting the transcription.

This is a solo I have had several of my students transpose, but I am approaching it as a new transcription and showing you how I solve problems with my students when they start transposing.

SKYPE LESSONS: Yes, I give Skype lessons! And, if you sign up for one (or more) you will see immediate results. From tone, and tonguing to style and improv, I can help get you headed in the right direction. For more info contact me via: www.scottpaddock.com or through Instagram @scottpaddocksax
