Description from the creator

Learning to tune your bass by ear is an essential skill every bass player needs to develop. In Part 2 I explain finding and tuning to a starting pitch for one of your bass strings. Then, I show you the two common ways bass players tune their strings--1) tuning with the 5th fret, and 2) tuning with harmonics.

Tuning by ear takes practice. Be patient. Even though you can use an electronic tuner (next video), it's still important to know how to tune by ear. One day your tuner will be broken, or you'll need to tune to an out-of-tune piano. Who knows what situation will arise?
