First, you'll learn how to hook up external gear to your DAW. External gear connects to your computer in many ways. It can depend on the gear itself, and the capabilities of your audio interface.
01:43
Next, you'll look at a session in Ableton Live by Sung Productions.
I'll pick a track to send to the Moog Sub Phatty, and begin designing some sound. Once I have a sound that I like, I'll record it as an audio track.
10:49
The next step is to send an audio track to my guitar effects pedals. To do this, I'll be using:
ZVex Box Of Rock Distortion
Strymon Ola Chorus
MXR Analog Carbon Copy Delay
TC Electronics T2 Reverb
Once I find sounds that I like, I'll take a pass at recording them. You'll be able to see how I manipulate the pedals to get the sound that I want. Afterwards, you'll hear the difference between the track with and without effects.
