INTRO TO AUTOHARP TUTORIAL

The autoharp is one of the greatest musical instruments of all time. That's because it is one of the easiest to play. It's also the most-rewarding. You feel like you accomplished a lot when you play the autoharp. There's nothing like accomplishing something to make you want to keep playing.

Best of all, it is one of the most unexplored musical instruments of all time. Most people look at the autoharp and scoff. "Oh! That's a second grade instrument. Anyone can play that!"

Sure that's true. But not anyone can play it well. There's a lot you can do with the autoharp.

In this video, I'm gonna get you started playing the autoharp. I'll share a tiny bit of history. I sing a song. I show you how I tune my autoharp. I suggests picks, strings, felts to make it work great. We tune the autoharp together. I share my favorite autoharp books and then I teach you how to play my song "The Prettiest Hobbit".
