How to Donate a Vehicle

If this is your first time donating a vehicle, or if you're thinking about donating, but you still have questions. The following video will walk you through the online donation process step by step.

For the purpose of this video, we will be demonstrating a donation to Habitat for Humanity (HFH).

Let's begin the simple process of donating a vehicle using Car Donation Wizard.

This will bring you to step 1, entering your vehicle information.

When you have entered your vehicle information click the Next Step button at the bottom of the page.

This will bring you to step 2, entering the donor information.

Enter your name, address, phone, and email address.

When you get to the bottom of the donor information form you will have the option of entering a different address for vehicle pickup.

When you have finished entering your information click the Next Step button at the bottom of the page.

Now, let's take a look at all of the information we just entered. Confirm the information is correct in each section.

If there is any information that you would like to edit, just click the previous step button located on the bottom left of each page.

When you have confirmed all of the information is correct, click the Submit Your Car Donation button.

Before being redirected to your confirmation page you will see a popup asking if you would like Express Pickup of your vehicle within 24-36 hours.

After you make your selection you will be redirected to a confirmation page that contains important information about your donation. Such as,

Your Confirmation Number, which is located at the top right of the page.

Instructions on how to prepare your title.

How the pickup of the vehicle will be scheduled.

How to get your vehicle ready for pickup.

Important information regarding your tax deduction.

If you have questions about signing your title over to the charity, there are detailed instructions for every state located in the footer section on every page.
