Editing Wikipedia: the Basics, is part of Femonics' Campaign 'The Missing 49%' to bridge the Gender content Gap on the world's largest online encyclopedia. Femonics in collaboration with Wiki Women in Red, organized first ever training session in Pakistan, which was facilitated by Wikimedia DC to train women content creators from Pakistan.
The population ratio of Women and transgenders in Pakistan is 49%. To document the notable women and transgenders from Pakistan, An Edit-A-thon will be organized where the trainees will upload the articles on Wikipedia.
