How to find grants for international ag development (Hort4Dev webinar)

How can you find grants and secure funding for your organization’s agricultural development work with farmers? Learn new tips and strategies in this recording of the first webinar in the Horticulture for Development Professional Series, hosted by the Horticulture Innovation Lab.

This video session provides an overview of funding opportunities for local, in-country organizations that are interested in applying for international and national grants in horticultural and agricultural development. Topics include different types of funding, pros and cons of grant funding, and the importance of networking.

The main speaker is Megan Mayzelle, a UC Davis graduate with experience as a grant director for a multi-million dollar project. After about 1 hour of presentation, webinar participants asked questions via a chat window for additional discussion in a thorough Q&A session about grant strategies, grant management questions, and other fundraising approaches.
