How To Hack ADempiere 380

The beauty of Free Open Source Software is that you can modify the code to ensure that it not be hacked and this was discovered long ago before May 2013 before it was finally solved and announced then in Krefeld Germany together with me up in the kitchen of Thomas Bayen with Anthony Soosah of Ghana who made the patch and Edilson Neto from Brazil who first pointed to the bug. Thomas provided the free dinner and beer. Actually everyone worked at it but Ghana beat us to the finishing line. :)
So please apply the patch from idempiere.atlassian.net/browse/IDEMPIERE-914 or better still move to iDempiere.

After posting this video, a blog was written to say this was fixed using hashed field, but upon checking again it is not 100% fool-proof and i managed to make another video this time breaking into email accounts as passwords are usually the same in test sites and real email accounts. I thus advise everyone that been using ADempiere without proper security to change their email passwords as now hackers can easily use them.
