Comfy Kimono Blanket Cardigan Crochet Tutorial

Here is the complete step-by-step tutorial for the Comfy Kimono Blanket Cardigan crochet pattern!

This simple, beginner-friendly crochet blanket cardigan begins with a square made with the granny block stitch in stripes of two different contrasting colors.

Once you have achieved the desired size of square you will fold down from the top and sew to create the arm holes. Simple double crochet sleeves are added to desired length.

A squishy and easy crochet ribbing is added to the top and front of the cardigan.

The unique construction allows the square to drape freely which means this cardigan is definitely longer than a traditioinal blanket cardigan. This fold also eliminates that "bulk" at the hips that can be unflattering with the customary "fold in half" method for blanket cardigans.
