Description from the creator

Some users noticed that, In Windows 8.1 there is missing Power button on Start Screen. This is by design - for some screen sizes, Windows 8.1 Update hides that button to save space on the screen. Also, if your device supports the Connected Standby feature, then the button will be hidden regardless of the screen size. However, if you wants to add or insert a Power button, then follow these steps.

Steps to Add Power Options on Start Screen:

1. Open Run by pressing Win Key + R or Search Run in search bar.
2. Type "regedit" and press enter.
3. In regedit window, navigate to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\Launcher
4. Open Launcher_ShowPowerButtonOnStartScreen. If there is no Create a new DWORD value named Launcher_ShowPowerButtonOnStartScreen.
5. Change the value to 1 in Value data box.
6. Click OK and close the regedit window.
7. Restart Windows Explorer from Taskbar or Simply restart your PC.
8. Now you have done you will see the Power button.

Or simply run Add_Power_Button_on_Start_Screen.bat file from given link to add Power button in just one-click.
