How To Avoid Sex Trafficking Scams (I Was Almost A Victim)

A few weeks ago I experienced a situation that involved a lot of popular tactics seen when attempting to lure someone into human trafficking. (Comment below if you'd like to know the story).

Thanks to this situation, I was motivated to make this video (as well at part one to this video) to hopefully prevent the people I love (YOU) from being involved in a scary and dangerous situation.

I always want to inspire everyone to follow their dreams but you MUST be safe while doing so.

Tips to staying safe & Avoiding human trafficking scams:

1.Never give your address to a casting agent in the beginning of negotiations.

2. Ask as many questions as you can!

3. Call the companies phone number make sure it's connected

4. Google the person that is casting you.

5. Research the companies website.

6. Read the emails and contracts (look for typos)

7. If the company is offering you a lump sum of money up front it most likely isn't legit (who pays you before you do the work?)

8. If you decide to go, bring someone with you (a tip from @cabral.co)

9. Tell people where you're going and give them the contact information of who you're meeting up with.

10. TRUST YOUR GUT! Your intuition is never wrong. If the hairs on the back of your neck go up or your spine tingles, whatever the sign is, trust it.
