How to be a Great Landlord!

Being a landlord can be challenging, but it can also be very rewarding. Heare are some tips on how to be a great landlord:

-Treat your business like a business, always.
-Build quality, lasting systems.
-Know the laws.
-Take care of your tenants.
-Do exactly what the lease says.
-Treat your vendors well.

Landlords can earn a lot of money, or they can spend a ton of money on legal fees and lose more than they make. You can self-manage your rentals or be hands-off if you hire the right team and outsource it.

Either way, doing it right, and doing it well, will save you money and heartache, probably legal fees, and can attract quality tenants who will take care of your asset.

No matter what strategy you pursue as a landlord, here are a few things you should do no matter what.

Erin served in the US Army for 14 years and loved every minute of it. She excelled as an Engineer officer, shattering glass ceilings and paving the way for women who came after her. When she was put on orders to deploy the same month as her husband shortly after having their first daughter, she knew the Army was no longer going to work for her. She resigned overnight, leaving the Army without a plan. So, she embarked on a quest to figure out exactly what that looked like. Navigating the terrifying yet incredibly fulfilling journey to buying her first rental property led to the realization that she loved chasing the deal, negotiating, and building a solid future for her family. She, along with her husband, purchased 19 doors in the first year and a half, and her business earned six figures during the first full year of operation.

Erin loves to help people achieve financial freedom through Real Estate Investing and is passionate about coaching, training and mentoring people to be successful. Her business was created to build a future for her family and leave a legacy, but it quickly morphed into a passion to teach others to do the same.

Erin loves to travel, workout, hang out with her studly husband, and spend as much time exploring the world with her two beautiful daughters.
