How to Be an Everyday Missionary

Read stories from Everyday Missionaries: bit.ly/16gcLIP

Why did Clayton Christensen write Everyday Missionaries? Because many members of the Mormon Church want to be successful as member missionaries and don't know how. Most missionary work is done in private, so it's hard to learn from good role models.

Everyday Missionaries summarizes over 40 years of lessons learned and principles gleaned by the Christensen family as they sought to discover and follow God's ways of sharing the gospel.

As you study the principles, you'll see how to find people who will accept invitations to be taught the restored gospel, how to effectively support people who are being taught, and how to empower them to progress more resolutely toward baptism and a life of committed discipleship.

When we follow God's pattern for doing His work, it is natural and energizing! We hope you'll see sharing the gospel isn't a "gift" given to a chosen few, but a joy all of us can learn when we mirror the mind and the ways of God.

Your example counts, no matter the outcome. Share a story and inspire someone!
