How confident are you in your practice?

As a practice owner, workplace confidence is essential to fostering trust between you, your clients, and your staff.

But why is workplace confidence so important? What exactly does it mean for your practice?

Well, your clients are trusting you with sensitive, unique issues. It can be daunting for them, so any lack of confidence from your side makes them feel unsafe. When your clients are in your presence, they need to feel an air of assurance and safety.

Also, as a practice owner, the onus is on you to instill confidence in other people - this includes your clients, staff, and family.

And most importantly, you need to feel confident in yourself and in your ability to captain your ship.

You're human, though, so even an inkling of doubt in yourself and your abilities can affect your workplace confidence. That's totally normal.

Every boss, manager, company, and medical practice goes through confidence glitches.

It's also totally fixable. It just means that you need to take practical, deliberate steps to build or regain your confidence.

Here's how to do it in four easy steps:

1. Watch your speaking tone.
2. Occupy more space.
3. Pause between sentences.
4. Dress well.

In the video, we elaborate on each of these steps and get into what you can do to master each stage and build that workplace confidence in yourself and others.

Everything else will fall into place once you start feeling like you BELONG where you are. It just takes a little work.
