What is going on YouTube it's Cody from Big Time Battery bringing you another video with some of that big time information.

Today we will be covering how to charge and properly maintain a motorcycle battery. You first must become familiar with your battery's Ah/ Amp Hours, and Voltage. This information will help you confirm what type of charger you need along with how much output will be used. A standard in the battery industry is to try and use a charger that is 1/10 of your battery's ah or amp hours.

For examples check below:

30 Ah Battery = 3 ah charger
20 Ah Battery = 2 ah charger
10 Ah Battery = 1 ah charger
Below 10 ah battery= .5 or 1/2 ah charger

Terms to know:
Automatic Charger (which will be used in this video )= A unit that will charge a battery to maximum voltage then set to a trickle charge in order to keep the battery at maximum potential.
Trickle charger= a battery charger that produces a very small current.
