Welcome to this Free Immigration Help channel. Today, we will talk about your immigration application status and how to check it.

USCIS case status check can be done in two ways. You can call into the customer support line, which is a much longer process, or you can do it online at uscis.gov

To check your case status you will need the USCIS receipt number, which can be found on your receipt notice. I talk in more detail in the video about where to find USCIS receipt number.

If USCIS case status not working for you, it might be due to website maintenance or your type of application like I've mentioned in the video.

Alternatively, you can call the USCIS number at 1 (800) 375-5283, but be prepared to stay on hold for a while.
