How To Choose Between Jobs / Making Hard Decisions + Free Spreadsheet

In this video, I'm going to share with you guys how I decided to change jobs from one to n=another.

Rather than make a simple pros and cos list, I came up with an exercise to help me make the decision without including my own personal bias.

As I mentioned, I realized I should create a worksheet for this since its a little confusing to describe.

There are a lot of factors I considered: culture, salary, commute, growth opportunities, and more.

The hard thing about listing a simple pros and cons list is that you can typically see which way you're leaning as you write each pro and con. What i found was that some of the pros and cons were WAY more important to me than others, so I weighted each pro and con by its importance and impact on my life.

For example: work culture is important to me - but its not the MOST important thing to me right now. But since I'm working aggressively to pay off debt, I was willing to sacrifice some work culture for total salary and compensation.
