How to clean a Top Loading Washing Machine

Today I'm in my kitchen showing everyone how to clean the inside of your top loading washer using Tide Washing Machine Cleaner. This is my Whirlpool top loading washer for example. Here are the steps:

1. Make sure the wash basket is empty


2. Set water level to the large load setting, set temperatures to the hot wash setting, and set timer to the regular setting. Start washer.


3. Add 1 packet of washing machine cleaner (For example I used the Tide cleaner) to the wash basket while washer is filling.


4. Clean exterior of your washer including the cabinet housing, lid, control panel, etc.

I saw the video of Cleaning and Waxing a Whirlpool Direct Drive Washer from Sharkie626 who has a washing machine that looks a bit simular to my machine.
