Description from the creator

Hi there, so today I needed to clean my grandaughter's sterling silver earrings that she got for Christmas. I decided to clean some of mine as well. Today I did my 14K rings as well. I have never taken them to the jewellers to be cleaned, but have always cleaned my jewellry myself. It's much cheaper :) Gold -- 1 tbsp Salt,1 tbsp baking soda,1 tsp dishwashing soap and tin foil. Line a bowl with the tin foil, place jewellry into the bowl, add the ingredients and pour hot water over the jewellry, then cover with tin foil. Let sit for about 10 - 15 minutes. Silver -- baking soda. Follow the same procedure as with the gold. The tin foil is a must here as it reacts with the other ingredients and this is what cleans the jewellry, so don't skip this step. I used a soft bristled tooth brush to clean my engagement ring. I also used a magnifying glass to check the claws on the ring as I have had it for 35 years.
