This tutorial is about learning how to use the Graphic Symbol in Adobe Flash to make doing these animated walk cycles easier.
We've been looking in previous weeks at various walk cycles and in this episode, I want to make sure that I've clearly explained how I set up my Flash document when demonstrating these animations.

It's useful to get into the habit of using graphic symbols to do your animation inside, as oppose to just animating straight onto the main timeline.

You'll see I mention two specific reasons why, the main one being any changes to the animation filter down into all instances of the graphics clip, significantly speeding up your work flow.

I finish off showing how you can turn these walk cycles into looping animated Gifs using Adobe Flash. Really useful for posting light weight animations onto all kinds of social media.

It's a great episode to get up to speed with some of the more technical aspects of Flash.
